Wish I ordered more to have for later. The cafe con leche was perfect to wash it down. “ Cuban Sandwiches to Go has been at this same location on Lee Road for decades.it sits on the corner of Davisson Avenue and Lee Road and while you could describe the ambiance as extremely humble and only offers a few outside tables and a small building, the food is definitely something special. It has been quite awhile since I had a Cuban sandwich and since I was on this side of Orlando, I figured Cubans Sandwiches to Go would be a great option. It has been years since I was last here, but nothing seems to have changed. I ordered at the window and was surprised to see prices were still extremely reasonable. A large Cuban sandwich was nine dollars and a small was eight dollars. I did find it odd that you had to spend at least ten dollars to use a credit card, but it is what it is. I paid cash. The food came out in a pretty decent amount of time. They do cook them fresh to order, so it will be a few minutes, but nothing insane. When the food came out, I found that it was as good as I remembered it. It was a decent size and was very tasty. They also now offer steak sandwiches on Friday and I might try that, but today, my heart was set on a Cuban sandwich. I would definitely recommend Cuban Sandwiches to Go and I will give it five stars overall. Go check it out for yourself. ”
